Man Injured in Maribel Roof Collapse

A 69-year-old Green Bay man suffered “non-life” threatening injuries due to a building collapse this morning in Maribel. Manitowoc County Sheriff Deputy Inspector Jason Orth says the male was dismantling a shed at about 10:40 a.m. at a residence on County Highway T when the roof gave way pinning him to the ground.  Law enforcement and EMS personnel were able to extract him from the rubble within 10 minutes after which he was transported by ambulance to Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay for treatment of injuries.  Maribel Fire Department and First Responders along with Brown County Rescue personnel assisted on scene.
