18-Year-Old Suspect Held In 2 Violent Home Invasions

Police have arrested an 18-year-old suspect in two violent home invasions in Bangor last month.  Theodore Muellenberg was taken into custody Tuesday for the crimes committed May 30th.  Muellenberg originally told investigators he was a victim, but the evidence contradicted his story.  Police say a masked man entered a home and battered and strangled an 18-year-old woman.  Then, an 18-year-old man was attacked shortly after that in a home on the same street.  Officers from several law enforcement agencies conducted a brief manhunt but found no one.  It was almost three weeks before Muellenberg was arrested.
