Public School District Superintendent Mark Holzman told us that the School District has been putting a lot of focus on their student’s mental health in the past several years.
The teachers have been receiving additional training as well.
We asked the Superintendent what the staff has been trained to do if a student were to approach one of them with a concern over a fellow student.
If a student or faculty member were to pass away for any reason, Holzman told us the district has a plan in place to help the students and staff cope with the loss.
One final thought from Mark.
