The Manitowoc Common Council approved the use of parklets for downtown businesses last night .

Nickels says there are guidelines to be adhered to.
Parklets will be allowed from April thru October and business owners must build their own and provide liability insurance. Contact the Mayor’s office or the Community Development Department for more information.
