WI) — At least two deaths are blamed on storms carrying heavy rain which have caused flooding in northern Wisconsin. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office reports the recovery of the body of a man whose pickup was found in a ditch along a flooded road Sunday. The 75-year-old victim was about 60 feet from the truck in White River. His name hasn’t been released. Several major roads in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota have been extensively damaged. A Minnesota man was killed when a tree fell on his camper in Sawyer County Sunday. Fifty-five-year-old James Pluff died near Lake Chetac in the town of Edgewater. One other adult and two children in his camper avoid severe injuries.
