The combination of very strong demand and very weak supply, resulted in a continuing drop in Wisconsin home-sales in May. The Wisconsin Realtors Association analysis shows home sales fell 5% last month, compared to the same period in 2017. The statewide median price went up 8% over the same time. As for LOCAL numbers, the number of homes sold in May was 100,or a 14.5% decline from one year ago. The median price for those homes rose nearly 11% from $105,000 to $116,250 in Manitowoc County. On a year-to-date basis, the number of homes sold in the county increased 7%, from 360-to-386. The ‘price’ dropped by 2% thru the first five months of 2018.
