The co-producer of Metro-Jam, Manitowoc’s free 2-day music festival, said this past weekend’s ‘40th’ annual show “ranks as one of the best…and biggest” they’ve brought together. Tom Chermak (SURE’-mock) who along with Bob Mittnacht……organized the event at Washington Park.
John Waite’s show Saturday night was the blue-chipper in the music lineup.
Chermak said Waite had a “great time here…and loved the town & the lake.” He and the band members stayed around for about 45-minutes after the show..mingling with the crowd..signing Autographs and taking pictures. Chermak thanked Metro Jam’s sponsors, the city of Manitowoc, the Police Department and Manitowoc Jaycees, who are donating proceeds from concessions to Acoustic Fest & Friends of Mariners’ Trail.
