A 20-year-old Oconomowoc man will avoid jail time for what he has called “an immature joke” — a threat to shoot up the high school. Tyler Zimmer has to complete 40 hours of community service and he will spend one year on probation for his guilty plea to a count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Zimmer shared a Snapchat video last October with him and a friend wearing masks and holding what turned out to be pellet guns. The captain read: “Don’t come to school tomorrow.” The friend’s name hasn’t been released and no additional charges have been filed.
