Eight months after the company went out of business, a bankruptcy court has approved a 365-million dollar sale of its assets. The company once known as Appleton Papers filed for bankruptcy protection last October. It announced it was cutting 200 jobs in November. Appvion sales the asset sale approved last month will reduce its debt significantly, give it needed liquidity and improve its position in a competitive marketplace. Appvion has about 12-hundred-50 employees at three plants, including Appleton.
