A reminder from Manitowoc County Clerk Lois Kiel. Voters in Senate District One, which comprises most of northern Manitowoc County, will vote in next Tuesday’s special partisan election. Second Assembly District Representative Andre Jacque, a Republican from DePere, is facing Democrat Caleb Frostman of Green Bay to serve out the remainder of Frank Lasee’s term. He resigned last December to take a job in Governor Walker’s Administration. Those eligible to vote include citizens in Two Rivers, the towns of Franklin, Gibson, Kossuth, Mishicot, Two Creeks, Two Rivers and Cooperstown along with the Villages of Francis Creek, Kellnersville, Maribel and Mishicot. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
