The Wisconsin State Democratic Convention was in Oshkosh yesterday. All ten candidates in the race for Wisconsin governor spoke to delegates on day one of the convention. U-S Senator Tammy Baldwin also gave a speech in her bid for re-election, criticizing special interests donating to the campaigns of her Republican opponents. The theme of the convention is “Believe in Wisconsin” as Democrats look to build on what they call voter optimism for the future of the state. They hope to ride a “blue wave” and take the majority in the legislature. Democrats are gearing up for the August 14th primary elections.
