Medical Examiner’s Office Identifies Woman Killed In Hit-And-Run

The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office reports the death of a 61-year-old woman resulted from injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.  The victim is identified as Michele A. Johnson.  Her body was discovered on the side of the road at about 11:30 P-M Wednesday.  That driver stopped and turned around to help, but realized she was dead and called authorities.  The speed limit on the stretch of road is 55 miles-an-hour.  Law enforcement agencies are trying to track down the hit-and-run driver.
