The search for the next chancellor at UW-Madison is down to three final candidates.
The university’s search committee selected University of Illinois Dean Rashid Bashir, Illinois Provost John Coleman, and University of Connecticut President Radenka Maric to advance in the hiring process.
All three finalists will visit campus next week to interview with campus leadership and host in-person public forums at Memorial Union starting Monday afternoon.
Following the public sessions and candidate interviews, the Special Regent Committee will make its final recommendation to the full Board of Regents to select the university’s next leader.
