Columbia County health officials are confirming at least three cases of measles linked to an outbreak in neighboring counties.
Public health leaders say all known cases so far involve unvaccinated individuals who attended private gatherings.
Investigators are directly contacting anyone who may have been exposed, noting there are currently no public exposure locations.
Officials advise residents to verify their vaccination status and call ahead to a clinic if measles symptoms develop.
