There are three meetings scheduled for today (November 5th) in the City of Manitowoc.
Up first will be the Public Works Committee, which is set to convene in the Council Chambers.
They are set to review a request for street lights in the 2500 block of North 8th Street (a map of which can be seen below) before reviewing the recently announced addition of paratransit services to the City’s list of responsibilities.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the public is invited to have their voices heard on the 2027 city budget as the Finance Committee takes over the Chambers.
Closing out the day will be the Crime Prevention Committee, which will be in the Meeting/Training Room in the Public Safety Building at 6:30 p.m.
After getting their usual monthly reports, the group will discuss the latest Medicare open enrollment and technical support scams hitting the area.
These are the final meetings for the week in the Clipper City, as a previously scheduled listening session with Mayor Justin Nickels and District 3 Alder Michael Cummings has been canceled.
