Summer hours have ended at Pinecrest Historical Village.
That means the McAllister House Welcome Center and village are only open for site strolls on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Historic structures are also closed for the winter, except for specialty programming. Winter Site Strolls cost $5 per person, and children under four can get in for free.
However, the Manitowoc County Historical Society suggests calling ahead to make sure they are open before visiting during the winter season.
Although the year is winding down for the historical museum, staff say there are plenty of upcoming special programs and workshops, which start with a Holiday Open House on November 14th.
