A Manitowoc woman accused of drunkenly shooting someone is set to return to court.
30-year-old Julia Gundt will be inside a Manitowoc County courtroom today (November 5th) for her final status and scheduling conference as she faces charges of First-Degree Reckless Injury and First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, each with Use of a Dangerous Weapon, as well as a misdemeanor charge of Operating a Firearm while Intoxicated.
These charges came following an incident that took place at a residence in the 2000 block of Johnston Drive on February 9th.
Gundt and the unnamed victim are said to have gotten intoxicated the night prior, but she allegedly kept drinking through the morning until the victim got up to go to work.
The two would then get into an argument, leading the 30-year-old to grab a gun belonging to the victim.
She is then accused of firing the gun through the bathroom door, striking the victim in the legs.
As of this morning, Gundt remains in custody on an unfurnished $7,500 cash bail.
