Some Plymouth residents will be without water for a short time next week.
The City of Plymouth has announced that a planned water outage will take place on November 12th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. as city crews complete a valve replacement project along South Burns Avenue.
In total, four Valves will be replaced, with two at the Roberts Place intersection, and one each at the Adrian Court and Dewey Lane intersections.
On the replacement, the City explained, “This work is necessary to maintain the City’s water distribution system, as several existing valves have been identified as no longer functioning properly and need to be replaced.”
With this project in mind, the City is asking residents to plan accordingly for the temporary interruption in water service and notes that water service will be restored as soon as the work is completed.
