Dane County prosecutors are dropping theft charges against four animal rights activists involved in a major facility break-in.
Prosecutors filed motions to dismiss two theft-related counts against Wayne Hsiung and three co-defendants linked to the March break-in at Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds.
However, all four still face felony charges for burglary and criminal property damage.
More than 50 activists were originally charged after cutting through fences, damaging buildings, and removing 22 beagles from the breeding facility.
