More details have been released about a celebration of life for the man known as “Mr. Manitowoc.”
The program for Tom Drill takes place on Sunday, November 22nd at the Capitol Civic Center.
Mayor Justin Nickels tells Seehafernews.com that the doors will open at Noon, with the Celebration of Life beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Admission is free, but it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
The service will be led by Pastor Matt Sauer, with remarks to come from Manitowoc’s Mayor and several individuals whose lives were significantly impacted by Tom.
Part of the program will include an announcement about plans for a permanent memorial honoring Tom and his contributions to the Clipper City.
Attendees are also asked to bring non-perishable food items for distribution or consider donating to a nonprofit organization that reflects Tom’s lifelong commitment.
The full Celebration of Life will last about an hour and a half. More details can be found on the City of Manitowoc’s Facebook page.
