A referendum question will be on some Sheboygan County voters’ ballots for the third time in two years.
On election day tomorrow (November 3rd), the Sheboygan Falls School District will be looking to get its referendum passed for the third time since the 2024 general election, coming in at $65.7 million this time around.
That figure is down significantly from $99.8 million in 2024 and down from the $70 million price tag proposed in last year’s spring election.
After the second failed attempt, District Superintendent Zach Pethan spoke to SeehaferNews.com and stated, “These needs aren’t going anywhere; we’re going to have to come up with a way to solve that.”
The district shared that sentiment as they continue to try to address issues at the elementary, middle, and high schools.
Main points of focus for this streamlined referendum aim to address enhanced safety and accessibility, expanded educational experiences, and addressing aging facilities and infrastructure.
