Local partners from the Sheboygan area are looking to make sure your children are riding safe.
The Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County, in collaboration with 10 other area organizations, will be hosting a free car seat check event at Sheboygan Fire Station #3 located at 1326 North 25th Street on November 9th.
Between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the day of the event, Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will check car seats, installations, and answer any questions participants may have.
Attendees are asked to bring their vehicle and car seat, while their children do not need to be present to participate.
On the event, the Family Resource Center explained, “There’s always something new to learn when it comes to keeping our precious cargo safe! Join us and our partners for our free Car Seat Check Event to make sure your little passenger’s seat is properly installed and adjusted for their safety and comfort.”
While the event is free, those interested are asked to register online by visiting familyresourcesheboygan.org.
