A local senior living community is preparing to honor some of its residents.
LakeHouse Sheboygan has announced that it will be honoring its resident vets during a Veterans Day celebration on November 11th beginning at 1:15 p.m.
The veterans who call LakeHouse Sheboygan home will be recognized with certificates of appreciation and service, an American flag pinning ceremony, and a recognition parade honoring their military service.
Among those to be honored is 100-year-old Al Herwig, who is a World War II Navy veteran and a lifelong Sheboygan resident.
Following the parade will be a performance from the Golden Chordaliers Choir, a well-known senior musical choir in the Sheboygan County area.
LakeHouse Sheboygan is located at 1231 Eisner Avenue.
