A crash in Outagamie County claimed two lives yesterday morning (October 27th).
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was called to the intersection of County Road S and Hample Road in the Town of Center just before 10:45 a.m. on a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Their subsequent investigation revealed that a 17-year-old motorist from the Bonduel area was traveling north on Hample Road when they failed to stop at a stop sign.
The teen entered the intersection and struck a second vehicle being driven by a 65-year-old Black Creek man.
He and a 58-year-old woman in the car with him were pronounced dead at the scene, while the teen was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The roadway was closed for around three hours for the investigation and cleanup.
No additional details have been released, including whether alcohol was a factor.
