The Wisconsin DOT is just about done with its reconstruction of I-43 in Sheboygan County.
Construction began on March 2nd, and for the past 34 weeks, crews have been working diligently to completely replace the pavement and structures along the 10-mile stretch between Wilson/Lima Road in the Town of Wilson and Highway 42 in the Town of Sheboygan.
As of now, the only thing close to a completion date is that the project is expected to be completed in November, but we have reached out to the DOT for a more detailed timeline.
This week, workers will continue guardrail and pavement marking operations from Highway 28 to Highway 42 and will work on signage along Highway 23 from Country Road Y to Taylor Drive.
