2027 is set to be an exciting year for the Franciscan Center in Manitowoc. Franciscan Center Administrator Vince Gallucci tells SeehaferNews.com that the 2027 concert series is packed with a wide range of acts from the ever-popular Janet Planet, who will be making a couple of appearances next year, to a new group out of the Fox Valley called Epilogue Road.
“The range we came up with this year, is more about an expansion of creatives,” he explained. “We want all types of music to be experienced.”
The next concert at the Center will feature some of the brightest young musicians, which is being held Sunday (October 25th) at 2:00 p.m.
While many have experienced a concert in the beautiful concert hall over the years, the foundation of the Franciscan Center has always been music education.
In fact, the Center is celebrating 100 years of teaching the art of music performance. “We have students that come in from very young ages,” Vince revealed. “They can come in and advance at their own pace.”
The music you can hear right now was performed by one of those students who performed the piece by Gershwin by memory despite only first tickling the ivories four years ago.
The Franciscan Center can be reserved for a wide range of events from fundraisers to weddings and anything else you can think of.
Vince noted that they have had parties ranging from ten guests up to over one hundred.
