Wisconsin’s Governor recently returned home to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new housing development in Plymouth.
Governor Tony Evers, a 1969 Plymouth High School Graduate, was in town on October 16th to break ground on Scholar’s Ridge, a new residential development on South Pleasant View Road.
This development will create 102 single-family homes and expand opportunities for attainable homeownership in Sheboygan County.
Scholar’s Ridge is made possible through the Forward Fund, a public-private partnership that brought together local businesses, governments, and economic development partners to ensure people can find a home in the communities where they work.
On the new housing development, Don Hammond, Chairperson of the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, said, “Scholar’s Ridge represents the kind of collaboration that makes a lasting impact in our communities. These 102 homes represent more than new construction; they represent opportunities for families to purchase a home and make Sheboygan County home.”
