Wisconsin candidates for governor David Crowley and Tom Tiffany sparred over taxes, abortion, and affordability during their first and only debate last night.
The showdown comes as recent polling shows a tight race, with Crowley holding a narrow three-point lead as early voting gets underway.
Crowley emphasized creating a simpler tax system and forming a commission to address school funding, while Tiffany vowed to maintain services while using the state surplus to enact tax cuts.
Voters will head to the polls to choose Wisconsin’s next governor on November 3rd.
