Milwaukee authorities are investigating a late-night vehicle pursuit that left one person dead and another severely injured.
Germantown police attempted a traffic stop Tuesday night before the driver sped off and eventually crashed into a utility pole on Milwaukee’s North Side.
A 58-year-old passenger died at the scene, while the driver was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The collision marks the third chase-related death in the Milwaukee area over a 48-hour period as prosecutors review potential charges.
