The City of Two Rivers is looking for help to clean up a local park.
The City’s Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting two Picnic Hill Disc Golf Course volunteer days next month on November 7th and 17th.
Clean-up efforts will be done from 9:00 a.m. to noon both days, with the goal being to improve the course for everyone to enjoy.
On the work needed to be done, the Parks and Rec. Department explained, “Volunteers will help clear brush and overgrown vegetation, remove debris, and improve areas throughout the disc golf course to make the course cleaner, more accessible, and more enjoyable for players.”
Participants are asked to bring with them work gloves, water, and hand tools such as pruning shears or rakes if possible.
To close, the department added, “No special experience is needed—just come ready to work outdoors and help improve one of Two Rivers’ recreational spaces!”
Those looking to volunteer can sign up to do so by visiting the Two Rivers Parks and Recreation Department Facebook page.
