A popular movie from 1992 will be retold on the stage by a local high school.
Student actors and stagehands at Kiel High School are working hard to bring to life the story of Deloris Van Cartier, as portrayed by Whoopi Goldberg in the film “Sister Act”.
The play will follow Deloris as she finds herself hiding out in a convent, pretending to be Sister Mary Clarence, where she takes over a struggling church choir.
More than 60 students are involved in bringing this production to life, from the actors on stage to the crew behind the scenes and the students performing in the live pit.
Tickets are now on sale at Cur8.com for the shows on November 6th, 7th, and 8th at the Kiel High School Performing Arts Center.
