There are two meetings that will begin the week in the City of Manitowoc.
The Committee of the Whole will meet in Council Chambers at 5:00 p.m. and will give the public time to comment.
They will then discuss whether to add a line to provide school voucher information on city tax bills before looking at rewriting Chapter 15 of the city’s Zoning Code.
They will then enter into a closed session to decide what should happen to the former Madison Elementary School property.
Last month, the Common Council got presentations from Mike Howe Builders and Americon Construction for what they would want to do if they could redevelop the property that the city now owns.
After that, the full Common Council meets in council chambers where they will have a badge pinning ceremony to promote two firefighters to fire lieutenants and a motor pump operator before hosting three public hearings, including one about fare increases for Maritime Metro riders.
They will also discuss including school voucher information on tax bills, an EMS contract with the Town of Kossuth, and an ordinance amending a section of the city’s municipal code for Master Subdivision Plans between Middle Road and Dutch Road.
