With the leaves falling to the ground and a chill in the air, the Mishicot Area Growth & Improvement Committee is ready for one of the most anticipated events of the year.
Pumpkin Fest kicks off at 8:00 Saturday morning (October 17th) at Mishicot High School with the annual pumpkin pancake breakfast, where vendors will also be on hand.
Entries for the pumpkin carving contest are due at the Willow Drive fire station by 9:30 a.m., while baking entries are due at The Old School, located at 315 Elizabeth Street, by 10:00.
The big event of the day, their giant pumpkin contest, will have entries unloaded at the Mishicot Country Store beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The biggest pumpkin will win a prize, along with prizes for the second- and third-place finishers.
Kids can enjoy pony rides at The Old School from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
They can also participate in the pumpkin decorating contest, which begins at 11:00 a.m.
There will be plenty of other attractions throughout the village, including chili served by Boy Scouts Troop 915, yoga in Village Park, pony rides, a petting zoo, brats and burgers sold by Camp Tapawingo, and a parade at noon.
The full list of events for the 2026 iteration of Pumpkinfest can be found on the Mishicot Pumpkinfest Facebook page.
