The two individuals charged in a Manitowoc murder conspiracy have returned to court.
37-year-old Larry Wallen and 49-year-old Christina Seguin made their initial appearances in court on Monday (October 12th) as they have both been charged with Solicitation to Commit First-Degree Intentional Homicide.
Wallen’s appearance was cut short as he is still without legal counsel, and a future appearance has been scheduled.
As for Seguin, she and her legal counsel waived their right to the reading of a criminal complaint and demanded a preliminary hearing, which the court obliged.
Wallen is accused of soliciting an individual to kill his wife as the two were in the process of getting divorced.
These conversations between him and Seguin are said to have begun in September and included various meetings, comments, and forms of planning, including the 37-year-old offering a date he thought would work best for his wife to be killed.
Wallen will now be back in court for his adjourned initial appearance on Monday (October 19th), while Seguin’s preliminary hearing will take place this morning (October 15th).
