Manitowoc Noon Rotary Club has raised thousands of dollars to help support agricultural education in Manitowoc County.
With this past Monday being National Farmers’ Day, several anonymous donors agreed to match donations to the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center until the $30,000 threshold was reached, and the Manitowoc Noon Rotary made a big dent in that number.
The Rotary recently presented a check for $5,000 to the Discovery Center, which will actually generate $10,000 in total support.
Jason Ring, the President of the Manitowoc Noon Rotary Club, said they were proud to help because “Farm Wisconsin educates and serves youth and families while strengthening an industry that sustains Manitowoc County.”
