Local students in Sheboygan County will gather today (October 13th) to learn about the real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM).
The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce will host STEAMfest 2026 today on the UWGB Sheboygan Campus from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The day will be spent with over 1,200 4th and 5th grade students experiencing engaging demonstrations and activities led by local businesses and organizations designed to spark curiosity and creativity, connect classroom learning to real-world applications, introduce students to STEAM-related careers, and give students opportunities to explore, build, test, create, and ask questions.
On the event and those who make STEAMfest possible each year, the Chamber noted, “STEAMfest is only a success because of our community’s businesses who volunteer their time, energy, and passion to help make an impact on our community’s students.”
