An Appleton teenager has been convicted in a high-speed drunk driving crash that took one life.
19-year-old Carter Green appeared before Outagamie County Judge Kyle Sargent yesterday (October 12th), where he was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Homicide by Negligent Operation/Vehicle for the incident on October 4th, 2025.
Green was behind the wheel of a vehicle that was traveling at over 130 miles per hour when he crashed near the North Richmond Street and I-41 northbound off-ramp.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Green’s blood alcohol content was .178, over twice the legal limit.
Two additional charges of Causing Injury while Operating Under the Influence were dismissed but read into the record.
Green is due back in court on December 22nd for sentencing, where he faces up to 25 years in prison.
