The Manitowoc Lutheran girls’ volleyball team completes a clean sweep in The Big East this season.
After winning the regular season championship last Tuesday (October 6th), the Lancers claimed the Conference Tournament championship Saturday at the Champion Center in Appleton.
They opened with an opening-round win over Sheboygan Christian, then beat Oostburg in the semifinals and St. Mary Catholic in the final to win the conference tournament title.
The Lancers improve to 23 and 11 on the season and begin their quest for a third consecutive state title next week.
The brackets are scheduled to be released today (Monday), with play in the WIAA Tournament beginning Tuesday, October 20th.
