A local financial advisor group will be looking to gather food donations for the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
Third Coast Wealth Advisors will be hosting its first-ever shred event and food drive tomorrow (October 13th) at the Food Bank from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This event will serve as a safe and secure way for local residents to dispose of sensitive documents while helping ensure their neighbors don’t go hungry.
Acceptable items to be shredded include tax forms, junk mail, checks, file folders, blueprints, photographs, clean paper, or file folders.
However, items such as three-ring binders, cardboard, hardcover books, telephone books, plastic bags, and packing materials will not be accepted.
Organizers ask those who will be participating to bring one bag of food donations for each bag of materials you wish to be shredded.
Requested food donations include canned soup, tuna, chicken, and fruit, pasta and sauce, and personal hygiene items.
A complete list of items that can and cannot be shredded during the event can be found on the Third Coast Wealth Advisors Facebook page.
