Manitowoc’s leaf pickup parking ban is now in effect.
The parking ban is in place from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the day of your neighborhood’s leaf collection, which is the same as street sweeping day.
During this time, the City Street Sweepers will be out collecting leaves on the streets, and additional city crews will be added on October 19th in each district.
The bulk of the cleanup will be conducted through November 20th, weather permitting.
No brush or garden waste will be picked up.
Residents may take brush and garden waste to the Manitowoc County compost sites or contact a private hauler.
If your street has a parking lane, leaves should be placed in the parking lane of the street in front of your residence, while those without a parking lane should place them on the terrace.
