A Manitowoc woman has been charged in a child abuse case.
51-year-old Tracy Brott was given a $10,000 signature bond yesterday (October 8th) by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
This comes as she has been charged with one count of Physical Abuse of a Child following an incident that occurred on Wednesday (October 7th).
During the incident, Brott is alleged to have hit her son in the face and bit him on the shoulder, with the marks and injuries left behind described as “alarming” by Commissioner Scharenbroch.
The 51-year-old was also ordered to have no contact with the victim child unless approved and supervised by the Human Services Department.
Brott will now return to court to make her initial appearance on October 26th at 1:30 p.m. in Branch 4.
