
A Manitowoc man with 16 open cases and over 110 felony bail-jumping charges returned to court yesterday.
27-year-old Trenten Ploederl was before Judge Mark Rohrer, where his attorney revealed their plans to waive the preliminary hearing for a child trafficking case.
That court appearance is scheduled for October 22nd.
Also, Ploederl was bound over for trial in his most recent case, where he is accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old.
In total, across his 16 open cases in Manitowoc County, Ploederl is facing 119 counts of Felony Bail Jumping, eight counts of Disorderly Conduct, five counts of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, two counts of Trafficking a Child and 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault – Intercourse with Person under 16 with Use or Threat of Force or Violence, and one count each of 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault – Intercourse with Person under 12, Intimidate Victim, Criminal Damage to Property, Theft of Movable Property – Less Than $2,500, Strangulation or Suffocation, and Lewd or Lascivious Behavior-In Public.
He is due back in court on October 15th for a status conference in one of those cases.
As of this morning, Ploederl remains in the Manitowoc County Jail.
