Manitowoc Lincoln Freshman Ava Wetenkamp is headed to the WIAA State Girls Individual Tennis Tournament in Madison.
Wetenkamp defeated sophomore Macy Damon of Beaver Dam 6-0,6-1 in her first match at the Oshkosh West Sectional Thursday to punch her ticket to state.
She was playing additional matches to determine her seed, which, along with the brackets, will be released this weekend.
