A suspended Milwaukee police officer is pleading not guilty to misdemeanor charges following an alleged sexual assault outside a bar.
33-year-old Nathan Enk entered the plea yesterday after prosecutors accused him of groping a woman in South Milwaukee last month.
A court commissioner set a $5,000 signature bond, ordering Enk to remain sober and stay away from the victim.
Investigators say Enk denied the groping allegation during questioning, claiming he instead slapped the woman.
He remains out of custody as the criminal case proceeds.
