The Chamber of Manitowoc County is recognizing two businesses moving to different locations.
They will host a ribbon-cutting for Skylight Wealth Management and a preview of the new building for the Lakeshore Humane Society tomorrow (October 7th).
The Skylight event starts at 3:00 p.m. at 100 Maritime Drive.
Attendees can tour the new space, meet the team, and celebrate this exciting new chapter.
At the same time, Skylight Wealth Management will be hosting an open house from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The business after-hours event at the new Lakeshore Humane Society building takes place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the Chamber and Two Rivers Business Association on Columbus Street in Two Rivers.
There, guests will tour what’s been done to the building so far and get a behind-the-scenes look at the new addition to the community.
The Lakeshore Humane Society is moving from Manitowoc to the Cool City to help both the animals and the community by adding space, since their old location ran out of room for everything volunteers and staff need to do.
The new humane society building will provide dedicated medical services and isolation areas, improved animal care and adoption spaces, and more opportunities for volunteers.
