
It will be a busy day in the City of Manitowoc, as there are four meetings on the docket.
Up first is the Board of Public Works, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m.
They will review an agreement with Lakeland Landscape for a tree planting project, which will cost the city $18,750.
At the same time, the Brownfields Advisory Committee will be in City Hall to get an update on the 2024 EPA cleanup grant for the Mirro property and the Community Wide Assessment Grant also issued by the EPA, before looking at other potential grant opportunities.
Also at 4:00, the Rahr-West Art Museum’s Board of Directors will convene in the museum.
There, they will review the October budget before getting their usual monthly reports. Closing out the day will be the Parks and Recreation Committee, which will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
They will get an update on the Lincoln Park Zoo Animal Acquisition and Disposition Policy before looking at opportunities to fill the vacant bear exhibit at the zoo.
