There is just one meeting on the docket for today (October 6th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Room Tax Commission will convene in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m., where they will discuss the 2027 Tourism Department budget.
The $768,500 spending package includes membership dues for numerous statewide organizations, including the National Tour Association and Destinations Wisconsin, $15,000 in advertising and marketing, and $20,000 for their office rental.
The Commission was able to propose a balanced budget, with the $768,500 in expenses matching the expected revenue.
The group will also discuss the Visit Manitowoc Office/Visitor Center before adjourning for the evening.
