Sheboygan residents will have two opportunities to share their thoughts regarding the City’s zoning code this week.
Today (October 6th), City staff will be at Deland Park for another community engagement session from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This event invites residents to Deland Park to discuss fence heights and fence placement preferences in the community while enjoying s’mores over the fire.
However, after residents asked the City for more of these community engagement sessions after work hours, officials have added two more to the schedule, with the first coming on Thursday (October 8th) at Roosevelt Park.
Here, residents will have the chance to discuss short-term rentals with Sheboygan’s Planning and Development Department at Codes and Costumes, running from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Children’s attendance at the event in their Halloween costumes is encouraged but not required.
More information on these and other upcoming zoning code community engagement sessions can be found by visiting the City of Sheboygan Facebook page.
