A man driving his UTV in Oconto County has died after colliding with a car.
The preliminary investigation by the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office indicates a 59-year-old man from Mountain, Wisconsin, was traveling south on the Nicolet Recreation Trail in the Town of Gillett at 11:00 Sunday morning, when he entered the roadway at Klaus Lake Road.
It was at that point he was struck by a car being driven by a 32-year-old Kaukauna man, which also contained a 31-year-old female and infant passengers.
The UTV overturned, leading to the man dying at the scene.
All occupants of the car were transported to a hospital in Green Bay for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The Wisconsin State Patrol and Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office are assisting Oconto County authorities in the ongoing investigation.
