
Just over three months after a teenager was shot and killed in Green Bay, the perpetrator has been charged.
16-year-old Araylius Cornelius was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide with Use of a Dangerous Weapon for the killing of 18-year-old Emerald Metoxen of Oneida.
Another 17-year-old male was also shot in the incident on June 22nd, but he survived.
Cornelius was arrested on July 6th by the Milwaukee Police Department on an unrelated matter, but the criminal complaint wasn’t filed until September 30th.
The circumstances that led up to the confrontation remain under investigation by the Green Bay Police Department, and no further details are currently planned for release.
